A day trip to Oxford to see the summer cafe at The Yard, MAO, by Richard Woods & dRMM Architects.
Lovely space and gallery was fantastic too. They were showing paintings by Howard Hodgkin. We also had some time to walk/cycle around this historical college town. Featuring a killer cobble street too!

We got ourselves on Eurostar, then TGV to Marseille last weekend to see this, an amazing flat at Le Corbusier’s first Unité d’Habitation. We also stayed in this building, found a great pâtisserie for our breakfast, and had a long walk to beach. We spent long time finding a right kind of place to eat dinner, but Yasu managed to find us a sweet veggie restaurant Le Cours-en-Vert , and also cold melon soup at La Passarelle was ace. More images on our flickr.

For last few weeks, we’ve been enjoying brewing coffee at home after a visit to Penny University, a pop-up cafe by Square Mile Coffee Roaster. We bought Colombian beans La Linda, and it smells so good!

We’ve visited V&A to see 1:1 Architects Build Small Spaces. You can enter all the spaces and we especially liked In-between Architecture by Studio Mumbai Architects and Beetle’s House by Terunobu Fujimori.

Visited South London Gallery to see its beautiful new extension and the exhibition Nothing is Forever.
SLG may be our best favorite gallery now. It’s worth a visit.
